Escambia County urges parents to register children for VPK

Each parent is aware of how important school is for their child’s growth during the K-12 years. Yet it doesn’t just finish after the bell rings at 3 P.M. An After-school program is a perfect method to further advance your child’s educational development. Your child will have important exchanges in a positive environment and acquire skills they’ll need for university and beyond. There are many advantages of enrolling your children in an After School Program at Malena’s Mini School; we welcome all children in Point Clear AL. Did you know that students in After-school Programs are likely to not skip school? These kids tend to feel more relaxed in this informal setting and feel free to ask questions at any time with regards to their homework and get help if they need it. Other programs introduce children to mathematics and the sciences, getting them eager about these subjects. This can lead to better efforts in school lessons and less absent days due to skipping because your children may be more interested.

At Malena’s Mini School After School Care your kid can also benefit both emotionally and behaviorally if they feel a positive connection to others. The relationships that are developed between staff and children in our after-school program in Point Clear AL aid by concentrating on good personality traits. Your child will learn lessons like open-mindedness and respectfulness because that’s what is expected of them. Developing leadership skills is an added significant result of children taking part in after-school programs. Not only will your kids have character-building skills but because of the physical activities they are involved in, they will burn extra energy. Malena’s After School Care provides healthy meals and snacks, and our caregivers can also teach your kid on proper nutrition, something that they can use for the rest of their lives. Having A Creativity Art Day Once Each Week

If you want your child to express themselves in a constructive way, you should have an art day each week. For children that don’t like art, you may want to set up a day for learning an instrument or doing anything else that gets the creativity flowing in them.

In today’s world it’s easy to give a child a tablet or some kind of device to play with. While there are some apps you can use to draw with or play music with, that doesn’t mean that is what your kid is doing with it. Maybe they are watching videos or playing games. Having the hands on experience lets their creativity flow. It may seem like our lives are getting more and more digitized, and that’s why being creative with your hands and mind is so important.

Creative projects will teach you a lot more about how your child feels. You can see it in their art, music, or other forms of art and creativity. Try to talk with them about why they wrote something a certain way or drew a scene with the techniques they used. You may find out about what is stressing them out or other things that may be on their mind at the time. Kids are good at hiding how they feel sometimes, so through art you may be able to learn more without feeling like you’re prying too much.

Having a creativity/art day once a week is important if you want your child to be able to express their feelings. You may not see it at first, but eventually you’ll see that this is a good way to get your kid out of the world and into their minds for a little while at least.
